Welcome to Bark & Bounce. By booking our dog walking services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Our Services
We provide professional dog walking services within our designated service area. Services are available by appointment and are subject to availability.
2. Booking and Payment
Bookings must be made in advance.
Payment is due prior to the walk unless otherwise agreed.
Prices are listed on our website and may change from time to time.
Any price changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
3. Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled walk will not incur a charge.
Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged in full.
If we need to cancel due to severe weather, illness or an emergency, we will offer to reschedule or provide a refund where appropriate.
4. Dog Health and Behaviour
Owners confirm that their dog:
Is in good health and fit for exercise.
Is up to date with vaccinations or has received veterinary advice appropriate to its lifestyle.
Is receiving regular flea and worm treatment.
Does not have any contagious illness.
Owners must inform us of:
Medical conditions.
Behavioural concerns.
Aggression towards people or other animals.
Anxiety or escape tendencies.
Any previous biting incidents.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if a dog presents an unacceptable safety risk.
5. Off-Lead Walking
Dogs will only be walked off lead with the owner's prior written consent.
Even with consent, we reserve the right to keep a dog on lead where we believe it is necessary for the dog's safety or the safety of others.
6. Veterinary Care
If your dog becomes ill or is injured while in our care, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you immediately.
If emergency veterinary treatment is required and you cannot be reached, you authorise us to seek veterinary care on your behalf.
The owner remains responsible for all veterinary costs unless the injury results directly from our negligence.
7. Keys and Property Access
Where keys, lock boxes or access codes are provided:
They will be stored securely.
They will only be used for the purpose of providing booked services.
They will be returned upon request or when services end.
8. Liability
We take every reasonable precaution to keep your dog safe.
However, dogs are animals whose behaviour cannot always be predicted. Except where required by law, we are not responsible for:
Illness arising from normal interaction with other dogs.
Injuries resulting from pre-existing medical conditions.
Loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by the owner.
Damage caused by the dog to third parties or property.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law.
9. Weather
Walks may be shortened, altered or cancelled during periods of extreme heat, ice, storms or other unsafe weather conditions in the interests of animal welfare.
10. Photographs
With your permission, we may take photographs of your dog during walks for use on our website and social media.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
11. Data Protection
We collect personal information solely for the purpose of providing our services.
Information is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate all complaints promptly and aim to resolve them fairly.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
